HSC Study Grants

Need a hand with Year 12?

We have study grants for young women of the Central Coast in 2025. Applications are now open.

The Zonta Club of Central Coast is part of an international human rights group aimed at improving opportunities for women. We see education as essential to empower young women, and each year we award HSC Study Grants to assist local young women to complete and further their education.

Applicants should be commencing Year 12 in Term 4, 2025, have a strong commitment to education and may be experiencing financial hardship.

Several grants of up to $1200 each will be awarded in Term 4, 2025. Funds are expected to be used to improve the students’ access to education - for example, computer items, laptop, desks, internet access, research expenses, courses, tutoring, and equipment for HSC Major works.

A short interview with two members of Central Coast Zonta will be offered to shortlisted applicants during September and October 2025.

All applicants are offered the option of mentoring with a Zonta member who can keep in touch throughout the year by phone, text or in person if they wish.

Information on the application is kept confidential by the Zonta Study Grant Committee and deleted after the year.
